Thank you for your generous support on Giving2sday (Tuesday, December 3, 2019)

Dear Fellow Concert Association Members and Friends:

We are continuing work to build our endowment funds, which are managed by the Community Foundation for Crawford County, to enhance the long term viability and sustainability of the Concert Association. We are announcing an opportunity for you to make a difference AND to maximize your contribution dollars.

The Community Foundation is providing $25,000 in pro-rata matching funds and FC Bank is adding an additional $500 to the top earning fund for each of the following three categories: agency funds, scholarship funds and school funds.

To be eligible for pro-rata matching, contributions must be dated December 3 and must be received by the Community Foundation between now and December 3, 2019.

The amount of Foundation pro-rata match to the Concert Association will depend on the total amount contributed but thus far previous “Giving2sday" matchings have not been less than approximately 17.5 cents on the instant unbeatable immediate return!

We are asking you to consider a tax-deductible contribution, to the full extent permitted by law, to the Crawford County Community Concert Association Endowment through the Foundation on or before Giving2sday cutoff of December 3. There are possible advantages if you are 70-1/2 or older you might want to consider talking with your accountant or tax advisor about making your contribution directly from your retirement account (like an IRA or 401-k) to the Foundation on Giving2sday by taking advantage of a tool called a Qualified Charitable Distribution. This method may provide an advantageous way of maximizing your charitable deductions. We always encourage our donors to seek tax advise from their tax advisor.

There are two easy ways you can contribute:
If you prefer to write a check, Please make it Payable To the: Community Foundation For Crawford County and on the memo line adding: “For Crawford County Community Concert Assoc.”
Remember for the Concert Association to receive the pro-rata matching… 1. Your Check Must Be Dated December 3, 2019 and 2. Your check must be mailed OR delivered between now and December 3. Foundation address is 254 E. Mansfield St., Bucyrus, OH 44820.

If you would like to personally deliver your contribution on December 3, the Foundation Office will be open 9 AM – 5 PM at 254 E. Mansfield St., Bucyrus, OH.

If you prefer, you can also contribute online.
1. Go to special web site:
2. Key on the green “Donate” box and Indicate amount of your contribution in the next screen that “pops up” and follow the prompts.
3. A payment screen will allow you to make a safe & secure credit card payment by following the prompts.

After we are notified by the Foundation of all gifts received, the Concert Association (& the Foundation) will send you a receipt for your tax records recognizing and Thanking You for your gift to support the Concert Association.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at (419 569-3811). Please remember to date your check for December 3, 2019 and mail or deliver to the Foundation Office.

Thank you for your kind attention and continuing support!

Tom Holtshouse
